Regular washing at 40°C will get rid of all the grit and dirt, keeping the Gencon All-in-1 or Headcollars soft and comfortable on your dog. You’ll notice that the cross-over isn’t stitched as a fixed point; it is important that the webbing can slide past itself, enabling the length of webbing which will be around your dog’s muzzle to tighten and loosen. To be honest if I need a head collar help with a pulling dog in the future I would use a front clip harness or fixed head collar which cant tighten to much for instance a Dogmatic.One of the easiest and most effective ways to keep control of your dog, our slip lead easily adjusts to the size of your pet’s neck and can be taken on and off quickly – ideal for working dogs. I have used dogmatic headcollars with double ended lead but prefer the Gencon all in one with clip to collar. The overall length is 76"; depending on the size of your dog's head, you should have a 5' to 6' long lead. For the first few times however it’s advisable to practise with your Gencon at home when your dog is calm and has already been exercised.
