Over time, I discovered that every ghost has a story to tell, some sad, others inspiring and happy but it was the ones who told me their tragic tales that intrigued me the most. Over the years I have conducted many private exorcisms and cleansings, helping home-owners and the ghosts themselves to find peace. This is what inspired me to begin writing The Ghost Hunter Chronicles. When I first heard of this, I was highly intrigued on this. I know of Yvette Fielding from Most Haunted so I went "OH, she's written a spooky middle-grade. This could be interesting as she has first hand experience of this!". Yvette Fielding was my introduction into the paranormal, and as a child I loved staying up to watch Most Haunted. I've always had a fascination with ghosts, and I loved hearing the history of the buildings that were being investigated, and Yvette's retellings of the ghost stories and tragic fates of the long gone occupants. When I found out that she had written her own stories, I was intrigued to say the least. This is the second installment of The Ghost Hunter Chronicles, where we follow three friends as they delve into the paranormal and investigate ghostly goings on. These books are aimed at ages 11+, but don't let that put you off. They're full of gruesome scenes, creepy encounters, and thrilling adventure. I loved the dynamic between the three friends, and that they all come from different upbringings. They also investigate the history of the cases they get involved with, piecing together long forgotten mysteries. When I was younger, I wanted to study demonology, parapsychology, and become a paranormal investigator, so this series would of been absolutely perfect for me. It's difficult finding appropriate horror for younger readers, but this one hits the nail on the head. I wasn't a huge fan of the fantastical element (without spoiling) of this second book, but other than that it was a terror filled read which I thoroughly enjoyed. I'd definitely be wanting to reading more from this series in the future.

He is quirky, fun, a little eccentric, and an amazing parental figure. Clovis is a budding scientist and all around facts geek, also deemed the cynic in their group, second-guessing everything. Tom is into his football and avoiding his overbearing father at home, and Eve lives with her loving but sometimes eccentric inventor uncle who has always kept his inventions and workshop to himself. He will be crazy-mad if he knew what they are about to do.
