It's available in a range of anodised colours too, so you can achieve a bit of coordination with your bike. The next setting is Blast (500lm/3hrs), then Enduro (250lm/5.5hrs), Economy (150lm/19hrs) and Femto (15ml/87hrs), which finishes off the solid options. The Overdrive setting gave me 80 minutes at full brightness – compared with the claimed 90 minutes – before the beam started to weaken, though it didn’t cut out entirely until over the 90-minute mark. True, Lezyne has gone some way to avoid this with its Race Mode, where you just have two settings, but the setting for the 'dipped' offering always seems to be too low.

Tell us what the light set is for and who it's aimed at. What do the manufacturers say about it? How does that compare to your own feelings about it? Battery life lasts anywhere from 1.5 hours on the highest mode to 87 hours if you go right down to the 15 lumen emergency option. There's a 'day flash' option for use when the sun is up, and switching modes was easy via the top mounted button which also serves as an indicator of how much juice is left in the tank. The button has an LED beneath it which moves from green to red through amber, allowing you to keep an eye on how much juice you have left, and a full recharge will take between four and five hours depending on where the power is coming from. Waterproofing is great as well. It dealt well with any rain it encountered and had no issues when given a blast in the bathroom shower. Like all Lezyne lights these days the mount is a chunky rubber strap which has the benefit of being very simple, but if you're heading off-road you might find the grip on the bar isn't quite strong enough to keep it pointing where you want it over the rougher stuff, and trying to use the top button in gloves can shove the light about too. I've not had a problem on the roads, though, and hanging it below the bar helps if you do find it slipping.

The app also gives you a battery readout for each light, but it would be nice if this feature was updated so the information is a little bigger, and more granular: getting useful battery information is a big plus for the app, but the current implementation could be improved.
