In automatic dehumidification mode, the unit will stop operating when it has reached the desired humidity level and will resume automatically if the humidity rises again. When I first turned it on, it detected humidity level of 82% in my flat. After running it for few hours humidity levels came down to 57%. How I know this for a fact is that the main door and toilet door expanded and it needed big push to shut it close. Now they close normally. It had given me a peace of mind. When the tank is full, the tank full indicator on the top panel illuminates and the unit shuts off automatically.
