The mower is part of the Bosch home and garden range, and comes it at the EASY end of the spectrum (Bosch now designate most of their home and garden machines as either Easy, Universal or Advanced). These entry level models are designed to provide the core essentials at a lower price point than the Universal and Advanced versions, something which often makes them an attractive proposition for users who don’t require all the features of a more expensive machine. In this post we’ll take a look at some of the features and benefits of this new model to see how much mower you get for your money. As I mentioned earlier, this is the most basic model from Bosch. In addition to this, the CityMower 18 also features the smallest blade size at just 32cm. This is perfect if you only have a smaller patch of grass that you need to keep looking neat and tidy. The mower is made for lawns measuring up to 300m² and while it is small, it does do a very favourable job. However, although it doesn’t look man enough for the job, the CityMower 18 gamely conquered our seriously wild, overgrown winter lawn with the ability of a model with twice the power. Once the first cut was complete, subsequent cuts were a breeze.
What’s more, while there isn’t a great choice when it comes to cutting height, changing them is a breeze thanks to the single lever adjustment.
