It's pretty stinky, but absolutely bearable in the grand scale of things. After lots of rinsing, shampooing and blow drying I was so pleased with the result. I have not applied any dye to my hair, this is literally the colour that it went after removing the lotion. Some people found that they could leave their hair that way after de-colouring it. The remover works evenly without leaving any blotches and uneven coloured spots. What we like about it: What I did was I put the product through combed it through, wrapped it in glad rap and I actually made a bed on the floor and used my floor heater ( that blows hot air) and lyed there for an hour.
