It's a bit of grumpy-sunshine at first but they hit it off from the start and there's no denying it.But as the book synopsis implies, the MC’s caught the feelz. And they both had a lot of growing to do personally and professionally to even consider being a couple… and it’d be messy. And many of those messy scenes pulled at me. There were a few scenes/chapters that felt WAY too cliche, which came randomly through the book. I caught myself rolling my eyes right after having the previous chapter tearing up from the feelz! It was odd, hence my deduction on rating. Yes, there were some smutty scenes but the overall book itself was so sweet and fun, it had me smiling so many times.
