The smallest balloons should be added in to cover any gaps when your balloon arch has been moved into place. If you have speciality balloons (such as filled or light up balloons) they should only be added in once the whole arch is in its final position. Taking a wide paint brush, start to paint the acrylic sheet working from the centre outwards in long strokes. By working from the centre outwards, you should get the desired feathers effect around the edges as your brush runs out of paint.
