The smallest balloons should be added in to cover any gaps when your balloon arch has been moved into place. If you have speciality balloons (such as filled or light up balloons) they should only be added in once the whole arch is in its final position. What better way to welcome guests to your wedding and let them know the seating arrangements for the day than with a personalised acrylic signs.

Taking a wide paint brush, start to paint the acrylic sheet working from the centre outwards in long strokes. By working from the centre outwards, you should get the desired feathers effect around the edges as your brush runs out of paint. If using bias tape, lay your fabric pennant so that it sits halfway across the bias tape, fold the top of the bias tape over the flag so that it is sandwiched in between and secure with stitching. Once you reach the edge of the fabric flag, keep the bias tape folded on itself and run a line of stitching until you reach the space for the next flag. Slot the fabric into the bias tape so it's sandwiched in between, and stitch over to secure. If you're having a rustic-themed wedding, plain hessian bunting paired with a white cotton or lace fabric bunting looks fabulous. If it's a spring wedding, why not go for pastels or bright colours? You can get balloons in any colour you can think of and in a multitude of different finishes, shapes and sizes. If you don't have the space in your wedding venue for large light-up letters, you can still get in on the trend with a selection of small light up letters. To get started, remove the protective sheet from one side of your acrylic. Taking the film off might attract dust to the surface of the acrylic – if that happens, give it a wipe down with a microfiber or antistatic cloth. Cricut machine – this project could be made using any Cricut machine but if you're only buying one to use for wedding based crafts we'd suggest purchasing the small but mighty Cricut Joy Take a few strips of fabric to make your tassel, fold them in half over your hanging string or ribbon. Then use another fabric strip to wrap around and tie off your tassel – it's as simple as that! small amount of yarn in three colours – white, green and grey (the pattern uses 100% cotton DK weight or LIGHT 3 yarn, but it can be made using sport weight or worsted weight yarn as well)

Browse a mix of ditsy floral vintage flower prints in bright and pastel colours and and lace fabric patterned flags for a traditional feel, hessian cloth and brown paper bunting for a rustic theme, or go modern with metallic rose gold foil pennants for a chic and stylish set up. Build up the layers of paint around the centre of the acrylic sheet so that it is opaque. If you are finding this hard to do with a paint brush, your can swap to a foam brush and stipple the paint on to fill any gaps or streaks. Most balloon arch kits will come with balloon arch strip tape (or balloon clips if it's a solid frame arch) and glue dots to help you secure your decorations together. Once the vases are filled, you can then slowly and carefully start to add water. This water will fill in any spaces around the gel beads and give the illusion that they have completely disappeared so that your decorations look like they are suspended in the water. This fabulous make is perfect for using as a wedding table decoration. Pour your water beads into a tall vase and add a floating candle for a really classy finish. This wedding craft looks so classy, can be made to match your wedding colours perfectly and best of all, it's super simple to DIY yourself! How to make an acrylic wedding sign This is a great craft to use up fabric scraps, (if you don't have any scraps you can always buy fabric or lace remnant bundles from suppliers online) or fat quarter bundles that have been cut into strips. Once your paint is dry, flip the acrylic board over and remove the protective film from the front. This is the side we will be applying our vinyl to.

Light up letters have been a wedding trend for a good few years now and are a lovely way of dressing up a big space. Most wedding venues will have a list of recommended vendors where items such as floor standing light up letters can be hired from (there are strict rules around things like PAT testing for health and safety reasons) but this can end up being quite expensive. To get a balanced design, you want to start with your largest balloons first. Arrange them across the length of your tape/arch as evenly as possible. Add in the next largest-sized balloons spreading them out evenly and work your way through until you reach your smallest-size balloons and any additional decorations or speciality balloons. If you want to utilise your crafting skills, have a go at making your own bunting that way you can have it perfectly fit your wedding theme! Cut two lengths of lace so that they are long enough to fit across the front of the board. Position the lace and secure it with a dot of glue on either end. Attach your LED curtain to the top bar. Some strings of curtain lights will come with hooks attached for easy hanging, others will just be attached to a main wire. If you only have a main wire to hang them by, the easiest way to do this is by using velcro cable ties.Decorate your sweet jars with ribbons that match your wedding colour scheme and add little handwritten tags displaying the names of each sweet (be sure to add any allergy info too!) This easy flower headband is a glamorous accessory for the bride and I think it’s suitable for anyone in the wedding party. Wedding bunting and garlands bring character, warmth and colour to any size room of space instant. With a range of different lengths available, you can hang them across the room, above the high table, dancefloor, along the champagne bar, or in the entrance to your venue for your guests to admire as they arrive at the after-party celebrations. Better yet, with a few extra supplies, you can get crafty and make a fully customised wedding sweet table - here are a few suggestions to give you some inspiration:

Firstly you need to hydrate the gel beads. The beads will expand in size a lot, so it's important you find a large enough container to hold them in – a plastic storage tub or tote is ideal. Floor standing light-up letters look great when displayed at the edge of the dancefloor or in front of the top table during the wedding breakfast. If you have an evening reception planned they can also be a great way to decorate the entrance of the venue to give some added wow factor. Once your beads have rehydrated, it's time to start layering! Get all of the other decorations you're going to add to your vases ready and laid out in front of you. Start by adding a small layer of gel beads to the vase, then arrange some pearls/jewels/flowers on top of them, followed by another small layer of gel beads. Repeat this until your vase is full (leave an inch or so gap at the top) and you are happy with the layout. No need to worry – you can also make tassel bunting instead. Tassel bunting looks great when strung up outdoors as it can flap and move with the breeze. This vintage and rustic take on a table chart display from HobbyCraft is another easy DIY that anyone can replicate! If using ribbon, simply line your fabric pennant-up with the top edge of the ribbon and secure it with a row of stitches with the sewing machine. Leave a gap in between each flag and carry on until you have a whole length of bunting.
