About this deal

I bought this specially for a date bc I wanted a new fragrance to wear n the guy complimented me right away saying I smelled good n delicious. I like this much more than Bronze Goddess EDP (which I ended up selling as it made me smell like a gran marnier/contreau/triple sec cocktail, it lasted an hour and a half at the most, and that just wasn't my thing). Not a terrible thing per se' if you like sugar bombs, but here they took sweet and powdery onto another level. This is light, fresh/clean, crisp from the bergamot and pear the violet with orange adds a sparkling touch.

Sweet, strong coffee with beautiful powdery flowers, oh dear - I absolutely fell in LOVE with this fragrance, initially. Finally, the warm base of vanilla and patchouli lends a tactile, comforting quality, enveloping the senses in an opulent embrace.Ps: I have Libre Intense and I don't think they are similar besides having a sweet vanilla in the dry down. IMO, this is not at all similar to Black Opium, that didn't even come to mind until I read several reviews which mentioned this - although BGEDF was almost spot on, but I would need to try these two side by side to know for sure. I've seen comparisons of this frag to YSL Libre Intense, so I knew I had to grab it because it's my signature scent. These indulgent and luxurious notes blend seamlessly to create a rich and indulgent scent that will make you feel like the only one. There's a note that put me off in this and I can't seem to identify what it it and it's driving me crazy.

I wish the longevity was a bit stronger in this scent, but I know I'm going to wear the heck out of it anyway. It has a fruity floral opening and a creamy richness which I assume is the coconut, although it does not have a strong coconut smell to me. It requires a heavy application, a dozen or two sprays, but will last 4ish hours on skin and 8+hrs on hair and clothes. I will definitely be wearing this layered with "Vanilla Love" and save my "BO-LP" for special occasions. I blind bought The Only One since I love The One and I wanted to explore the line further, the notes listed made me think it would be a typical late 2010's/2020's sticky concoction and the comparisons to Black Opium also hinted to that too, but.The coffee note is really prominent, but the caramel and the violet in this really pushes through helping to make this fragrance sweet on the nose. It is a perfect balance of everything: Not too sweet, not too strong, not too loud, not too juvenile nor too mature. The coffee-vanilla combo comes out front in center, but not in an obnoxious way, but rather in a comforting and welcoming way. It mostly reads as a generic fruity pear and violet+iris on my skin, I'm barely getting any caramel, it certainly doesn't feel gourmand to me. I see why people compare it to Alien, the jasmine here is peeping through barely, but it's weak and nowhere near as impressive as Mugler's Alien.
