Bitches tend to cause the problem just because they often produce a large amount of urine in one "puddle" on a lawn. These rocks should be placed in your dog's water bowl, which causes the nitrate level in your dog's urine to drop and neutralise.

These impurities are usually passed out through urine, and when your grass comes in contact with these elements it is burned, resulting in a dead, yellow patch on your lawn. It is important that the water has contact with the rocks for 8-10 hours before being drunk by your pet.
