the longevity is also insane i get about 9-10 hours on this and it projects super well, it can fill up a room. It is very sweet but if you spray just tiny amount on the right spots it works very well, if you wish to wear a sweet scent with some notice but without overpowering your and others senses. I have gone thru 4 ounces of original Joop in the past year alone so I am very familiar (don't judge me! My first review, now gone, undeservedly put down this fragrance for smelling incredibly candied and synthetic.

This is nice =) I kinda get the EDP with a violet twist - And no it dosent smell like AXE/Lynx Excite, that thing smells way more sweet then this, and this is a sweet frangrance.Maybe it's because I tried it with 33° outside, I can clearly smell rum with some pepper and an odd sweetness which I can't pinpoint exactly to something.

The only think they share is the coconut vibe, but in Joop Homme Wild we found a coconut rum which is a little bit different and also Axe Excite has that hazelnut caramel combination which isn't present here obviously. bronstein u have it wrong my friend we all wear fragrances for some type of compliment or universal appeal.On initial spray, my brain smells a slight scent of coconut suntan lotion with a strong scent of red cough syrup.

So if you want a subtle adult Joop go for this, I get the ‘this fragrance smells like the colour of the bottle’ comments.Might be too strong for day use in the summer, but thanks to the drydown I see it as a superb night time perfume for holidays and summertime. And since I bought it, I thought I should at least use it to make that money count, but my surprise was that I really liked it, actually, I loved it, I loved the great projection and longevity, and loved the scent too. This fragrance isn't anything extremely mature or masculine, so if those types of fragrances are your preference, this may not be for you. I get a sense of original Joop's DNA in Wild but it wouldn't be detectable if someone wasn't familiar with the original.
