The prism was partly smashed but still worked over 60% of the area and I carried on using the monocular despite a poorer view. Well, you can create two out of phase signals externally, and feed them to pairs of inputs on the amp. One of the neat things about the CNAMPX-16X60 is it can bridge the stereo pair of inputs to output more power if desired. The Emotiva XPA-5 had an odd quirk when it powered on — it would create an audible hiss on all the boards that would quickly dissapate after 2-3 seconds, but it was still less than ideal.Now on to M-11 which also looked bigger and better in the 16x bino which looked like a large globular and was quite pleasing at 16x.

Since Alexa doesn’t have automation triggers for starting/stopping music playback, right now I have to either ask Alexa to turn on the Crestron amp, or pop into Home Assistant to manually turn it on. My next target was M-27, (which was more difficult to find this time), and at 16x this also looks nicer at this image scale. I also have four 16x60's that I am modifying or parting out in different ways, if you are looking for spare parts.I downloaded the manual and I *think* this amp has to be integrated with a Crestron system as it has some special molex connectors and the manual shows how to program it with Crestron controllers. I had a chance to take the 16x60's in my backpack in the case and do a little bit more viewing with them, and I also made a short video right throught one of the eyelenses ! The flexibility of this amp is really remarkable, it can be easily configured for 8 high power channels, 16 channels, or anything in between.
