About this deal

This is a public forum presenting user opinions on selected products and businesses, and as such the views expressed do not reflect the opinion of ProductReview. Don’t worry, the cleaning takes a little less than 5 seconds so it is not as inconvenient as you might think. It didn't happen every time and was sometimes only a small amount, but other times it was nearly all water. Before our first cup of espresso, the manual instructed us to run a “lungo” cup’s worth of hot water three times to rinse the system before using the machine and to run the hot water function three times as well.

However, for the average joe like me, this Lattissima Pro already does more than you can possible dream of. I also find the water reservoir too small, even though i understand it's actually bigger than other machines. It's never been easier to create authentic Italian espresso based beverages with the De'Longhi Lattissima Pro.Nespresso Capsules De'Longhi Lattissima Pro, all artisanal coffee blends Toro Coffee functioning of coffee machines Nespresso capsule compatible.

Not only did this assure us that the machine was squeaky clean, but it also introduced us to the machine’s functions. The results of that test can be entered into the machine’s settings; this will affect how often the machine will need to be descaled. If you're on the hunt for a very convenient machine that anyone can use, the Nespresso Lattissima Pro could be a solid choice. You can collect them from us at any time during our working hours of 9am to 5:30pm on weekdays and Saturdays (excluding public holidays in Northern Ireland). I've tried changing settings but only gets a tad warmer and I have to microwave it for couple of minutes again.Though other machines cost much more upfront, they can offer essentially the same level of convenience with a lower lifetime cost and far less waste. Unfortunately it died last year and replaced it with this upgraded version it makes terrible coffee (using the same pods), boils the milk and is pretty much undrinkable. With the Nespresso capsule system combined with De'Longhi's Automatic Cappuccino System you are only ever ONE TOUCH away from delicious barista style beverages. That same smooth, perfectly formed taste is carried over to shorter and longer drinks too – a 25ml ristretto goes down beautifully in a single mouthful, while a 110ml lungo will keep sippers happy until the very last drop.

We dived into our first latte without reading the manual and were suitably impressed that the onboard menu walked us through the process, including telling us to run the clean cycle on the removable milk container and then place it in the refrigerator. Nespresso then replaced the milk carafe, telling me not to put the new one in the dishwasher to clean, even though it says you can in the manual. I want a Nespresso machine that can do automatic milky style coffee and I know Lattissima range machines are the one to look at. One design feature we really liked was that the hot water function uses a separate outlet rather than using the coffee outlet.

That means the hot water will be plain hot water and not taste vaguely like coffee-flavored hot water. With that experience fresh in our minds, we weren’t expecting much from the De’Longhi Latissima Pro when it arrived, but how wrong we were. In fact the Latissima+ that we reviewed recently proved that point by producing quite poorly resolved results, no matter what flavour capsule we used. Not only is the milk system automated, but capsules are super easy to use, even for someone that's never touched an espresso machine before.
