The plot, the characters, the growth right down to Mr freaking Meow - this book was amazing, it was such an emotional roller coaster with so many twists and turns I thought I had figured out when I truly didn’t! if we had the time to spend on the spell, the saving of the world, the deaths of everyone who tried to keep Sela and Amon apart—then their HEA would be earned. Most of the Yorkshire Wolds lie in the county of East Yorkshire although some of the hills at western end are in neighbouring North Yorkshire. it is a a skill to set such intensity to a story without even describing the physical setting properly. She definitely infuses such an intensity into her story that I sometimes I forgot how dumb the heroine was.

The southern end of the site once held the Driffield to Malton railway which disappeared in to the mile long Burdale tunnel about half way up this dale, reappearing by the deserted medieval village of Wharram Percy to the North. The reincarnation theme is super common in Asian fantasy…between that and the weird phrasing, this could have absolutely been a fan translation like you’d find on those pay-per-chapter apps.
