The HADA LABO Goku-jyun Lotion can also be used on its own in warmer months to hydrate and moisturise the skin.

As its name suggests, in addition to hyaluronic acid, it contains Alpha Lipoic Acid, a powerful antioxidant with repairing effects on the skin, but also a retinol derivative and collagen for an anti-aging action. I think Hada Labo is great for basic, no-frills skincare, but if I’m looking for multitasking products, I look elsewhere as well. It also contains 4 different types of hyaluronic acid but is a little more viscous than the Light version, so more suitable for normal to dry skin.

I was happy that the safety seal on my bottle was in tact when I opened the package, however I would note that the seal is not strong and looked almost ready to break. My skin stays hydrated throughout the day if I apply it in the morning, and stays hydrated overnight if I apply this product at night.
