I've been road-testing these amazing fragrances for the past couple of weeks and have got to rekindle my love affair for both the orient and British perfume house Penhaligon's. Starts off with a nod to the original Halfeti combined masterfully with Cedar and Rum and also fresher than the original, as it dries down it focuses mainly on the latter two which is a shame. As you'll see, the 'DNA' notes are actually slightly different depending on the flanker - the only constant amongst all three in the top notes is the cardamom, whilst the middle notes of Halfeti cedar differ completely to the original.
