About this deal

It's rare that I plow through a book and almost devour it, but in this case, I couldn't help myself. I loved every page honestly, and am wondering why on earth I haven’t read a Lynn Painter book before. that was all just kinda weird 😭 and i felt bad because of everything that was happening with her parents. starting this, i had super super high expectations because i absolutely love lynn's ya romcoms, they're always so sweet and adorable 🥹💞 and this one did not disappoint! guys my review is a little messed up because the spoilers tags kinda became a disaster idk how they work 😭 there are minor spoilers throughout and bigger spoilers that i tagged but idk if the tags will always show up so proceed with caution…there are spoilers!

in the beginning of the book he tries to come off as cool and different for not following laws but to me that only made him annoying. chill the fuck out, really fucking cute, loud as fuck, for fuck's sake, fucking chump, fuck me, and more! I will say that one thing I hate is the miscommunication trope and this book is all about it, which is the only reason I gave it four stars. i also felt like there were a couple missing strings - i wish bailey and her parents further talked out their issues. com}: When seventeen-year-old Bailey starts a new job at a hotel waterpark, she is less than thrilled to see an old acquaintance is one of her coworkers.picture taking one of those trope booktok videos and dropping it into a PR blender and you have this book. somewhere between omaha and colorado i'd fallen truly, madly, fucking ridiculously hard for bailey mitchell. oh my gawwwwwwd it's like a child was just taught what a swear word is and was told to never use it and then used it 5000 times in every breath. They fake date to piss off Scott, then that just goes nowhere, then they date but don't date at the same time (I can safely say that situationships and romance books should never go together) then they break up despite not dating whilst dating and then some friendship drama happens and BOOM!

seeing bailey navigate her feeling towards her mums new relationship and troubles with her dad was great too. i was torn between three and four stars but i’m weak, emotional and soft so here we are 😭😭 it’s not that i didn’t enjoyed the book (cause i did! she did fall for c-dog, and also tried to sabotage her mom's relationship with a wonderful guy; but i'm not a child of divorce, so i don't know how hard it could be to adjust to a new "dad". Bailey and Charlie cross paths twice before they end up working at the same jobs when they are 17 and both of those interactions…. NO GOOD ROMANCE starts off with the fmc watching the mmc literally suction the shit out of a random girl's face, and then complain about commitment issues 5 minutes later.

saw somewhere that this gave 10 things i hate about you vibes which just happens to be my fav movie, so now i must confirm if it’s true or not! Soon enough feelings between Bailey and Charlie begin to develop with the help of some “fake dating” but Charlie has a secret. Much of the story is about both of their issues with recent break ups and on top of that both of them having issues with each of their parents' divorces. She has a way of creating such interesting characters, taking a simple plot, adding a bunch of hilarious shenanigans and making it a 5 star read.

So many homes consist of blended families now it's pretty much normal, but that doesn't mean it does not impact the offspring of the original parents. Because in the scene mentioned below she's in the kitchen to eat breakfast but in Colorado she apparently doesn't? those were the things that made you hold tight because you were the only one he'd shown that side of himself to.they are literally so cute, from the prequel i knew i was going to enjoy the book, but wow i did not expect to love it the way i did! I yanked down my sleep shirt (even though it went to my knees) and crossed my arms over my braless chest. what i legitimately disliked about bailey was how she valued a relationship with a random guy over her best friend's feelings. Overall I enjoyed this book, but I didn't enjoy the miscommunication at the end and I didn't agree with the decisions some of the characters made.

I can relate to her since I am also really close to my mom, but unlike Bailey my parents are very much together and I'm close to both my parents. What did his having a daughter my age have to do with the fact that I wasn’t wearing pants—or a bra—in front of him in our kitchen?Request Rejected This page is unavailable due to either geographic restrictions or other restrictions in place at this time. Like, years go by and they bump into each other at their new jobs in the same place and remember all these random quirks about each other? Charlie and Bailey meet each other randomly a few times during the course of their early teenage life.
