This book was hard to rate/review because it is not a story, but more an encyclopedia of the characters and peculiars from Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children series.

A guidebook to the peculiar world for fledgling members, with notes about the variety of peculiar abilities, techniques for blending in with normals, and other helpful features. that being said, I sadly really struggled with the style of writing in this one, simply because it reminded me of a textbook. I found this little novella quite wonderful and informative if you're a fan of the world that Ransom Riggs has created. it doesn't have a plot or story, but rather explains everything that has to do with the peculiar universe. It is perfect for people who are very familiar with the series and want to check back in with the world.However, the add-on books (peculiar Tales and this book) that have come out in recent years have been pretty fun. Gloriously rich and utterly delightful, Miss Peregrine’s Museum of Wonders is an indispensable guide to the peculiar world, perfect for longtime fans and new listeners alike. Some sections felt like I was forcing myself to read it for school while other sections were so enjoyable that I wish they would’ve been longer. It was very informative and the "handwritten" notes from Miss Peregrine made it feel like I was reading Jacob's personal copy!
