About this deal
The feline super hero Tigra, a former West Coast Avenger, is also part of the Midnight Mission's ongoing mission. Jed Mackay evidently didn't get that note, because his characterisation of Moon Knight and his various personalities seems almost effortless.
Strange enough the art, even if overall good for my taste, is what sometimes took me out of the story. Joining Moon Knight's cause, the House of Shadows became the new site of the Midnight Mission, occupying the same leasing space. The Age of Khonshu Avengers' arc is a lead-in to this series and I do recommend reading it first, because it does change up the Moon Knight dynamic with Khonshu.Também achei que era uma forma das histórias de Marc Spector e companhia limitada de personalidades terem um teor menos sombrio e esquizofrênico (no sentido literário e não patológico) como foram todas suas fases anteriores. It’s not established though and I get the feeling that MacKay doesn’t have a particularly firm grip on the character which is why his writing of Moon Knight is very superficial. I guess it's good I saved this one for last because apparently every other run before this was canon and mentioned?
Here is the origin of Moon Knight's Midnight Mission, the important people behind the organization, and its current and evolving role in the Marvel Universe. He also builds him an interesting supporting cast, complete with a new villain and a character who can best be described as a rival. However, the Mission continues to face new threats, including a mysterious Moon Knight who is fueled entirely by an insatiable thirst for vengeance.Though he embraces his "sacred" duty/mission of protecting his community by night, he does not feel the same about Khonshu. Knight has opened his Midnight Mission, his people petitioning for protection from the weird and horrible.
