It opens very synthetically sweet like people have mentioned but to me, it’s more creamy and rich fresh fruits. I love this fragrance so much. Projection: The fragrance projects with a moderate intensity, creating an intimate yet noticeable presence. The expectation was high, he should be the "unicorn" of fragrances and combine the best of so many fragrances. He would be sweet, gourmand, fruity, soft and yet intense and just heavenly.Longest I've had it on without a bath/shower was 20 hours (work, pub, straight to bed) and it was still there when I woke up, I could STILL catch a faint whiff of it on my elbow after the shower. As for my clothes, the polo I had on that day still strongly smelled of it a few days later, not only the polo but everything else that was in the wash basket with it. HOWEVER, I will say that it is a top-tier layering fragrance, and depending on what you choose to mix it with, the fruits are brought out in an equally expressive yet much more refined way. For instance, I layered my sample size of Erba Pura with a few sprays of L'Eau d'Hiver by Frederic Malle, and the frosty, frigid vibe helped to cool down the fruity Erba Pura and turn the vibe refreshing, enhancing on the otherwise subtle tropical aura it brings. When you find a fragrance like this, you know it's love. I also, by the way, never expected to ever find such a long lasting fruity scent.
