About this deal

The Vornado Tower 184 is a fantastic tower fan with an excellent warranty. In fact, the five-year warranty is the longest in our review and much longer than the standard tower fan warranty of one year.

We would say yes, although it is far from being a perfect model of tower fan. However, it is certainly better than your average brand. These little devices are a great way to have total control over degrees of oscillation, power output, and timer settings without moving or dropping what you're doing. Cut Out the Noise: Enjoy all-day serenity and comfort, enabled by its algorithmic impeller design and the magical Conada effect. Along with display auto off, auto mute in Sleep mode, 8h timer, and soothing airflow, you can always get a restful sleep whenever you need it. Seville showed that with power came noise. However, the noise levels weren’t anything unusual or excessive, and each unit stayed comfortably within similar audible — but not disruptive — sound ranges. The Seville ultra slimline tilt tower fan is no different, capitalising on a well loved design plan to improve the customer experience just a little bit more. What Are Seville Known For?Again, the Seville impressed, showing the strongest total coverage by a slight margin. The Honeywell equaled the movement as well, followed closely by Brookstone and Dyson. Normal wind mode is great thanks to the wide 95 degree oscillation range of the Seville Classics ultraslimline. An impressive oscillation to say the least! Vornado 154 Whole Room Air Circulator Tower Fan: While testing in our lab, our first impression of this fan was that it had a sleek design and powerful breeze up close. We also loved the designated spot for the remote, touch-sensitive controls, and carrying handle. However, after further testing, we found the airflow to be weak unless you were fairly up close. Plus, it offers no oscillation feature, and even when it is pointed at you, you still can't feel it less than six feet away. It has four speed settings and while it's quiet at its lower three settings, the highest setting is quite loud. Overall, we think at this price point, there are better options out there to cool a larger space. The Seville Classics - ultraslimline does come with a bonus feature than many might not expect, or even really put much thought into. The Honeywell – HY-280 was the next best oscillating tower fan option after the Seville, with great coverage, solid airflow, and second-best performance in noise levels behind the Dyson AM07. Its low energy usage and overall cost make it a great budget choice overall. Unfortunately, Honeywell has discontinued this terrific fan. Brookstone – Mighty Max (discontinued)

Using less KWh units of power can also make the Seville Classics ultraslimline have a cheaper long term cost, and a lower cost per hour compared to other expensive models. Downside of a Seville Tilt Tower FanYour fan model might also include a cleaning brush, which you can use to scrub dust and lint out of intake grills. (A small, clean toothbrush can get the job done in a pinch.) A can of compressed air helps clear out debris from the fan's blades and the rest of its interior.

For one, the Dyson’s bladeless design makes it safe for all ages and easy to clean, although there’s little about the other encased fans that make us feel like our health is at risk. The Dreo has the same modes as other tower fans — normal, natural, and sleep (timer can be programmed up to 8 hours) — but it also has an automatic mode, which automatically adjusts the speed level depending on the temperature in the room. It has a 90-degree oscillation that moves at a slow rate, but because of the force of the high speed, still manages to keep cooling when the grill isn’t facing you. There is also the eco mode setting that saves even more power by shutting off after 30 minutes of inactivity, helping you save money and power if your forget to turn it off. These mostly revolve around furniture and storage solutions, but also extend to the workplace. Mostly with heavy duty furnishings. The best bit? This tower fan isn’t just a fan: it’s also an air purifier. The TP04 will remove 99.95% of ultra-fine particles, such as allergens and pollutants from the air around you – so you’ll be breathing in cleaner air, as well as feeling cooler. Some of them can cool either your chest or face, and others can cover both. Similarly, the oscillation limitations of some of the units mean already ineffective units perform even worse when we consider the airspace covered in total. It stands 40″ tall, but the grill only measures 20″ x 2.5″, which definitely decreases the volume of air being pushed through. At the higher speed, the fan measured a good 11.4 mph, but at the top 4″ of the grill, it decreased substantially to 2.2 mph, which could barely be felt a mere two feet away. While it only comes in one color (white) and does not offer a remote, the settings on the fan are easy to use, and the design blends into any room easily. Due to its settings, quiet operation, and compact size, we think it is ideal for a bedroom, nursery, office, or other small room. If you are looking for a fan that is powerful enough for a large living room or family room, this is not the best option, but it's a great affordable choice for small spaces. Quiet Without Compromise: Get the best of both worlds, the acoustic isolation design of this oscillating fan ensures noise reduction to a minimum of 34dB, while delivering a refreshing air breeze either at night or while you are focused working The Brookstone – Mighty Max was a mediocre unit masquerading as an expensive one. It had a decent design, but it underperformed on every other metric, with poor airflow power and middle-of-the-road oscillation. Twice as expensive as the middle-range units, we gave it a pass for most people. How we selected
