Tapi suwer deh, kamera analog kodak ultra f9 ini benar-benar punya daya tarik sendiri, terlepas dari hasil kamera analog ini nantinya ya. Buatku pribadi, harga segitu seharusnya sudah bisa mendapatkan kamera analog yang lebih bagus lagi lensanya, atau bahkan bisa dapet kamera analog jenis rangefinder. Jadi aku agak berat untuk membelinya, kecuali kalau dapet diskon 80% sih, mungkin aku akan membelinya dengan senang hati untuk koleksi.

Nggak masalah juga sih, karena setiap hal pasti punya pasarnya. Aku tidak akan pernah melarang manusia-manusia itu untuk membeli kamera analog kodak ultra f9 ini, karena memang bagus juga. Tapi menurutku, ya harganya nggak segini juga. I actually think the picture quality is alright for this type of film camera. I don’t really see a big drop in quality because it’s a half frame and to be honest, if you’re looking for a camera like this then this is probably the kind of look you’re going for. Then, in 2022 a new star was born, the Kodak Ektar H35, a half-frame camera that kind of seems like some thought actually went into it. Looking similar to some of Kodak’s first cameras, (like the Kodak Instamatic), this actually seemed to have been designed and considered. There is virtually no difference between the Ultra F9 and Ilford Sprite. The only real differences are the price and aesthetics but I still thought I may as well put them head to head to see what the results were, that way you can see if there are any differences. I know this because I looked into producing my own film cameras before these came out and they were exactly the same).

Because you can’t adjust the shutter speed or aperture for these cameras, you need to be aware of when to use your flash! Basically, both of these have very basic, plastic lenses that don’t really produce sharp pictures. Also, you can’t change your settings (other than choosing to put the flash on) so really, there’s very little control when you’re trying to get good shots with these. The Kodak Ektar H35 isn’t necessarily anything special, but when we’re comparing it to the Ultra F9, I think the design is much better. I can tell that they’ve actually had these specifically produced because it resembles the old Kodak Instamatic cameras. I think the photos above show more clearly how these are exactly the same camera. It’s like that office meme “they’re the same picture”.
