At the end of its trailer, the game announced that for the first three months of its release it would be exclusive to the PS4, PS5 and PC.

On September 16, 2020, the teaser trailer was launched during the PlayStation 5 Showcase event. The video shows a couple of new rooms and inside the mall restaurant, as well as instituting a new animatronic with a grinning crescent moon for a face (later revealed to be the Daycare Attendant).
