I strung up a few of them with some wooden macrame beads that my mom had lying around and gave to me over Christmas. I applied the ink directly onto the surfaces and played around with rubbing alcohol as a blending solution. Before the test, I gave a thin coat of regular mod podge to each washer to keep the glaze from interacting with the alcohol ink and giving the washers all the same surface to test on.
