She is in her thirties, he is in his sixties, the flat is small, the walls are thin and the horror and humour that can arise from such a scenario was something I am not only familiar with but have long wanted to explore. All in all, this was a fun read and I'd recommend it to those who like mysteries and domestic thrillers. Fast, gripping, nail-biter, exciting, devouring-at-one-bite and finishing-at-one-sitting kind of reading!An absolutely gold-standard One Before The One, in fact, with all the qualities I thought I was looking for, who ultimately showed me what I really needed. This book by Miranda Smith is an ominous and sinister mix of closet secrets and psychological suspense and is my third sortie into her writing.
