It reminds me that everything is possible if you want it badly enough and keep going, turning your adversity into your advantage. She is able to provide clients with a variety of strategies to make theory become a reality and enjoys helping others, and the organisations they work for, reach their full potential. We acknowledge that the land on which we meet, learn, and share knowledge is a place of age-old ceremonies of celebration, initiation and renewal, and that the Traditional Owners' living culture and practices have a unique role in the life of this region.

In addition, she has led high profile investigations of investment schemes, fraud investigations, internal corporate investigations, due diligence assignments and matters involving business disputes and quantification of damages. Carol received a BA from Yale University and an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia. That was Carol’s first brush with inequality and it became a catalyst for her to question the status quo and find ways to make a positive impact for women. Carol comes across in every page of the book, it is funny in bucket loads as she talks about her childhood, it is moving as she moves through her anguish at wanting to become a mother and the battle she had to undertake with the authorities 25 years ago. She serves as the co-local lead for Mentor Walks in Melbourne, a non-profit organization that pairs senior mentors with emerging leaders for monthly walks and discussions. For over nineteen years, her career has concentrated on providing forensic, investigative and bankruptcy services to debtors, creditors, Federal bankruptcy trustees and examiners, creditors’ committees, court appointed assignees, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Department of Justice, law firms and financial institutions. The story will be of interest to a wider audience of women, young and old, mothers and non-mothers, as the chapters record the changing social attitudes towards single parents during the past 25 years. Through my art, I express my feelings for the locations I visit and the wonders of nature I encounter along the way.
