Description

I spent a weekend using the M14 instead of the 27-inch external monitor I normally use with my Dell XPS 13.

not including the kickstand) and 570g, the ThinkVision M14 is one of the thinnest and lightest monitors you’ll find.Considering their complete differences, choosing one over the other comes down to what you need and personal preference. If you approved for a credit limit with PayPal Credit and use it for future purchase, the standard variable rate will apply. It has a smaller 14 inch screen, which is fine as a secondary screen, and with a 1080p resolution, it still has a high pixel density that makes images look sharp. It has okay peak brightness for use in moderately-lit rooms, but it doesn't get bright enough to fight glare.

The display itself is 14in with a 16:9 aspect ratio so gives you a decent amount of space while remaining compact. The ASUS comes with a folio case that you can fold up to use as a stand, whereas the Lenovo's stand is a flap that also houses the inputs and controls. Even though the 14 inch screen and 1080p resolution may seem limiting to some, it's good for a secondary screen.Colours are decent too with 99% of sRGB and 75% AdobeRGB – not that many users will need accurate colour from a second monitor. It is well equipped to provide you with a second screen while traveling, and bright and glare-free enough for passable viewing in a variety of challenging lighting environments. On the left side is a second USB Type-C port, plus arrow buttons to control the panel's brightness, and a button to toggle the low-blue-light setting on and off. It has more gaming features like a slightly higher 75Hz refresh rate and VRR support, but its gaming performance isn't anything special.

Please include what you were doing when this page came up and the Cloudflare Ray ID found at the bottom of this page. The tilt on the stand is convenient to place the screen in an ideal viewing position, which is an advantage over the Lepow Z1 Gamut. Be sure your laptop, tablet, or smartphone has a full-function USB-C connector that supports Display Port 1.

It's a portable monitor designed to be used as a secondary screen to your laptop, so it doesn't have as many features as most desktop monitors. The Dell is more versatile because it gets brighter, has better reflection handling, and supports HDR, but the Lenovo is to be used on the go anyways. This is much brighter than the HP EliteDisplay S14, which registered just 171 nits, and the Hori Portable HD Gaming Monitor Pro, which tallied 178 nits. This is provided for reference only and shouldn't be used, as the calibration values vary per individual unit due to manufacturing tolerances, even for the same model. On the other hand, the ViewSonic has a Mini HDMI port, which the Lenovo doesn't, and it's a bit bigger, giving you more screen real estate space.
