I found this smokiness surprising but not unpleasant since I was expecting more of a chocolate vanilla musk. I’m hoping that if I let the bottle macerate for a bit the synthetic smell will calm down and dissipate more quickly after application. I’m aware that choco musk is earthy when it dries down, but in the stars emphasizes choco musk’s earthiness without yet it being dried down. After some time I bought this and as a gourmand girl I’m in love😻 It smells like fresh baked cookies and the sillage is better than in some expensive perfumes.

Right now it's perfect to layer for the season and I'm glad I got it in the summer so its notes are in full force. For some reason, I amplify citruses, so the bergamot is fairly noticeable on me, but that's one of the reasons I really like this scent. i was stopped by a disney photographer while wearing this, because she claimed that i smelled like hot cocoa.

It’s compared to Chocolate greedy which I own and although they have the same idea…I don’t believe this is an exact dupe.

The opening has an alcohol smell that isn’t my favorite, but does dissipate in maybe 20 seconds into a vanilla chocolate scent. And, I thought it was a perfect opportunity to finally try some Arab perfumes as I've heard nothing but amazing things about them. I do agree that it is not sophisticated enough for formal occasions and it might be a bit too stuffy for the summer months, but this is a perfect everyday layering fragrance in the winter/fall. The smell reminds me of a Hershey's chocolate lip balm my mom got from the dollar tree when I was a kid.I can see this being a favorite of someone who wants a potent vanilla fragrance that doesn't break the bank. A reaction or irritation to fragrance oils is very rare; however please take the necessary precautions . It smells like opening a swiss-miss hot cocoa packets with those strange little crunchy mini marshmallows.A VERY inexpensive dupe for Montale's Chocolate Greedy (and yes, it does smell like Serendipity 3 Serendipitous as well). I'm not getting the musk or the sandalwood or the amber or the rose, really, but that doesn't bother me in the least.
